Getting down to the wire!

Well I'm now 33 weeks. Baby has been active. At every appointment he has a strong heartbeat. The only sucky part is the Fibroids. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh I had 2 small ones before I got pregnant. They never bothered me. Now I have 5 and they are softball size. The only one giving me issues is the top one. Doesn't hurt just annoying feeling.

Baby shower invites went out. Not everybody has RSVP'd so I have been contacting everyone.
Most have just forgotten. lol I am so excited to have so many family and friends together. Especially for a happy occasion.

I am hoping to craft tonight when I get home. I will post some photo's of recent cards I've made. I am hoping to get some more things put away tonight.

On a Happy Note: MIA is doing much better. Had a bit of a scare. Still not 100% sure what it was. Either Pancreatitis or infection in Gall Bladder.  Either way she stopped eating for 2 weeks. Poor thing was in the hospital for a week. She is home now but not a fan of the cold with the shaved patch on her belly and all 4 paws. She is eating and we hope to have her back to her crazy self soon.

Well that's all for now. I'll check in tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great night. :)

WOW has it been awhile!

Life has been crazy since I last posted. Can't believe it's been since 2013! LOL

So I'm pregnant!!!!!

We are having a little boy. We can't be more excited. We really need to pick up the pace on the baby room. Cleaned out most of it but still need to paint. My baby shower is January 30th. So happy to have all our friends and family there. Just wish Daddy could be there. He was always so good with the little ones. I know he will be looking down with a BIG smile.

In other news we are in the process of moving all my craft supplies home. Having stuff in 2 places is the WORST. I always need something that is still at work. However I still don't have my craft/library set up. So I don't want to bring things home just to sit in a box. I still need some small totes and baskets to put things in.

I am starting this year making more of an effort to send out Birthday cards to friends and family. I want to share all I have learned from making cards over the year. No one sees them if they sit in a box! If you want a card just send me your address and birthday.

Well that's all for now. Hope to stay on more.

Pocket Tag

Good Afternoon Everyone. Hope your having a great day.

Here is a tag I made for a Tag Exchage over at ScrapZee. Click on the link to see all the great tags that have been created. http://scrapzee.websitetoolbox.com/post/Tag-Youre-It!-An-ongoing-swap-6119258

Here is the Tag I made for the exchange. I saw something similar on Pintrest.

I used by Top Note Die and Butterfly Embosslites. I love using my Big Shot. There are so many possibilites. The paper and the brads are stuff from my stash. I left the inside blank so it could be a Valentine's, Birthday, Anniversary and Everything In Between.
I hope you like it.

Wedding's Aren't Just For The Invited

Hope everyone is having a great week. Work has actually been busy. Not much crafting to be done.

I made this card for a long~lost friend from High School. Tracy and I were best friends till I was dumb and left my Senior Year. We lost contact till about 6 months ago. Found her on FB and we talked. I ran into her and her mom at B.J.'s Wholesale and she mentioned getting married. It happened to be at the Church I grew up in. It's right accross the street from my parents house. I told her I would watch from my sister's house to see her come out. Her or her mom {I don't remember} suggested stopping in. I said "Crash Your Wedding?" We all laughed and I didn't really think about too much after that. I saw the date approaching and decided my sister Liz and I would crash the wedding.

IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!
Weather was great. Everyone looked beautiful. Liz and I sat in the back, where everyone just stared at us. Wondering "Who are the nut jobs in the back?" Needless to say it was a beautiful ceremony.

Here is the card I made for her. I wanted something simple yet fun. I stuck with black/white because I didn't know what her colors were. I hope you like the card and story. Check back to see more cards and you may just end up with one in your mailbox.

"Treat Yourself" to a great Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to another GREAT blog hop.

My name is Jeanette Graves and you should have gotten here from Meredith's blog. If not click here to go back and collect her letter. If you want to start at the beginning click here and check out Brooke's blog.  You will not be disappointed.
When you reach our fearless leader Lora at the end of the hop you should have 17 letters. I'll explain more later about the letters.

Now there is an awesome crop going on over at CardSwaps this week. Challenges and games will be posted August 8th~11th.
You have until 11:59PM EST August 14, 2012 to get your projects posted to the appropriate thread. Now if you are new don't worry. There are many wonderful people to help along the way. Lora's blog will take you to the crop, so I hope you join us.

The theme for this blog hop goes with the crop "Treat Yourself". They left the type of project up to the hostesses of the blog hop, as long as it somehow conveyed a way the hostess "treats" herself. They also asked us to share something about a way we unwind or our favorite way to treat ourselves.

I LOVE COFFEE! I know shocking but my favorite way to treat myself is with Tim Hortons coffee. I even had to stop and get coffee on the way to my wedding! Now getting coffee out is expensive so it really is a treat when I get a cup.

Now for my card. Here is what I used to make this cute card. From Stampin Up I used the "Morning Cup" stamp set, Watercolor Pencils to color image {not real well I might add} and Corduroy Brad. I made the background paper with a technique I love using "Shaving Cream".  The ribbon I got from the stash from a swap on CardMaker.

I had alot of fun making this card. I hope you enjoy it.

Now for the letters I talked about earlier.
Unscramble It game for hoppers... You will be unscrambling a word once you collect a letter at each blog you visit. Once you collect ALL the letters, the last hostess (LORA) in the blog hop will direct you to the thread in the forum where you can find all the details you need to enter the drawing. All hoppers collecting all the letters, unscrambling the word or phrase, entering the game by following the directions in the forum, and leaving feedback on EVERY blog in the hop WILL be entered in to a random drawing held on August 15, 2012. ONE lucky hopper will have their name drawn and will win a prize!! Fun, right?? The winner will be posted in the forum on the game thread for Time To Shine Unscramble It! So, make sure you visit every blog and find the letters.

Your hints are... it’s a phrase, it has three words, and it’s a way to keep balance in one's life.
My letter is... O
Now, be sure to hop on over to the forum with all your letters and unscramble the phrase. Check out the challenges and play some games. It's a lot of fun!!!
The list of hoppers, in case you got lost somewhere on the hop are.

Father's Day

Father's Day is hard for Bob and I.
I lost my daddy {Alfred} on August 16th 2010.
Bob lost his father {Robert} on October 26th 2010.
I think about them everyday.
I remember the first time I met Bob's dad.
He gave me the biggest hug.
I felt like family right away.

Bob is a great father to Nick{16}, MIA{9} & Elphaba{3}.
Ok so only one {Nick} is human! LOL
Bob works hard and is always thinking of others before himself.
I love him so much. I can't wait to contiune to grow our family. Human and dogs alike.

Here is a card I made for not only a challenge on http://mfpspeedytv.ning.com/page/friends-of-speedytv-challenge-24 but to celebrate the wonderful husband and father I married. We don't get to ride the Harley often but when we do he is thrilled and looks good doing it. I know he will enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it.

Happy Father's Day!
